DAY 5
Friday, February 1, 2019 is my 5th day here. At that time I had plenty of free time in the morning while waiting to go to the mosque because I had to carry out Friday Prayers for every Muslim male. the time showed at 10 AM and Cesar finally came by driving his car to accompany us to the nearest mosque in the city of Cabanatuan. Before going to the mosque, we stop by the Cheap Market in Cabanatuan, the market provides used goods that are still good at low prices.
after almost 1 hour there, we finally left for the mosque in Cabanatuan, after almost 20 minutes we finally arrived at the Cabanatuan Mosque. very shocked and a severe blow to me because when I arrived here, how could I not? with environmental conditions that are very inappropriate for residents to live around, they are still passionate about life, worship, and faith in Islam, compared to me who live in a country that is predominantly Muslim with sufficient environmental conditions, sometimes still lazy. when we arrived at the mosque we were welcomed very warmly by the residents, and the head of the Muslim community there. we were introduced to a Muslim who had studied in a country in the Middle East. we were welcomed very well, we were both touched at the mosque because they were very happy we wanted to come here. after performing Friday prayers we are introduced to the congregation if we are Muslims from Indonesia, immediately they come to us and shake hands while saying Assalamu'alaikum. not there, after that we were invited to play at their home, and given food and drinks, we were very happy because they were very kind.the time is 01.50 PM where we must immediately return to the hostel. we say goodbye to them to return to the hostel.
the class is finished at 4 o'clock, before we return to our habitat we take time to selfie first.
